About (Learning Spaces) Capacity: 24

Description

Located in the center of Auraria Library’s first floor, the Discovery Wall is a multi-panel, high-definition video wall nested in an open-concept space with a sound system and flexible seating arrangements. Affiliated Auraria campus faculty, organizations, clubs and departments can reserve it for campus- and community-related events, such as talks, meetings, presentations, screenings, and workshops.

The Discovery Wall offers the following technology:

  • Windows 10 PC
  • Wireless Keyboard and Mouse
  • Microphones (Handheld and Lapel)
  • Presentation Clicker
  • HDMI Connection

You may connect your laptop or tablet to the Discovery Wall, but the resolution will be limited to full HD (1920x1080). If you require cables or adapters beside an HDMI cord and a USB C adapter, please refer to the items available for checkout at the AskUs Desk.

For your convenience, the Windows 10 PC includes: 

  • Web Browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Internet Explorer
  • Microsoft Office 2016: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader
  • VLC Player
  • Quicktime Player

Note: This is a Windows machine and we cannot open file formats from Pages, Numbers, and Keynote. Please convert these files to their Microsoft equivalents or PDF's.
